Q&A
Kotudent is available for students wanting to enhance their English skills. Its main focus is on high school students, but anyone who is a student is welcome.
One tutoring session will be one hour. For the first 40 minutes, a volunteer and student(s) will talk on Zoom; they will have an everyday conversation. For the remaining 20 minutes, if student(s) has questions, they will ask in the Q&A section and get them answered.
No, there is no money involved in this ESL program because this is a non-profit organization and is volunteer-based.
Yes, you can! When you are submitting your hours to school, put in kotudent@gmail.com for verification email, and we will verify them. If additional steps are required for us to verify volunteer hours for your school, please contact kotudent@gmail.com.
The instructor can choose the day and time at the start of a course, and from then on, that course will be held at that day and time through Zoom. So please choose a day and time that you can dedicate to Kotudent at least twice a month. Once you become an instructor, you will tutor at least twice a month.
